Nashville Family Dogs

“It has been such an amazing experience working with Emily! Our sweet Obe was a rescue and we knew nothing of his background. Emily has help us build trust & confidence with Obe! We also feel so thankful to know that when we go out of town someone is loving on our pups just as much as we would!

Nashville Family Dogs is such a gem! We can not express how much we appreciate Emily and all she does, not only for our fur monster, Betty, but for all dogs in Nashville. Upon the possible mistake of adopting our puppy (after a 3rd margarita), we went down the rabbit hole of "what the hell did we do and what's next?". We met Emily to help guide us and train our crazy dog. The results were stellar. Fast forward about a year, we were working all over the place and started placing Betty in a downtown Nashville dog daycare (to remain nameless, but it's a public place). The rate was somewhat hard to digest at first, but we wanted our puppy to have some good experiences interacting with other dogs and not be stuck at home by herself all day. This was a below-average experience and the people working there really know nothing about dogs. Our Aussie-shepard-pit-mix is full of energy and wants to play. They expelled her for barking too much. And hence Emily came to the rescue offering some weekly doggy play dates, additional training sessions, and even boarding. Overall we can not be happier with Nashville Family Dogs and Emily! We're so grateful.

Emily with Nashville Family Dogs has been such an important part of our journey as first time dog owners. We started working with Emily when we first brought home our puppy Pony, and he quickly learned the basics — walking on a leash, potty training, and obedience. Emily has continued working with us as Pony has grown up, and she has helped us along the way with reactivity issues, barking, and more. Emily is super knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what she does. We love getting texts with videos and photos of Pony while we are traveling, and we have peace of mind that he is enjoying his time with her, while also getting some training in too. We will forever be grateful for Emily!
